  Their selection is amazing. I had no idea they had so much in there. If you need a great gift or some affordable high-end stuff to furnish your home this is a great option. The staff was really helpful, I went in there trying to find a gift and the girls helped me find just the right thing.

  Just stopped at the Marquette, MI store, and wasn't there more than two minutes when a clerk came up to me and asked what brought me in. It struck me as odd, but I said I was just looking. She said, snottily, "Just so you know, our wall decor is 25% off." I thanked her. I proceeded down the side of the store w/the dishes and heard another clerk talking with a customer. The customer kept saying, "I'll have to see what I already have." I couldn't hear what the clerk was saying, but it was clear the customer was trying to get away, which she ultimately did, and walked out the door. I continued looking. The clerk that had been talking w/the other customer came up to me and said, "I see you're looking at our wine racks." I turned to her and said, "I'm fine." I looked a bit more, but felt pressured, so I walked out the door. I've made many purchases over the years at Pier One, but I never will again. Certainly the clerks are doing what they've been told to do, but it's obnoxious and in-your-face. Not the kind of shopping experience I enjoy.
